Android Tv Tips And Tricks

In the year 2008, we got the lifeline of our mobile Phones, our favorite Android, android is found in almost every second mobile phone but now android is also ruling the Television industry. Android in Television is a little bit different from android that is in our mobile phones, many apps of android are not available for Android Tv but do you know that you can overcome this limitation?

Welcome guys You are at Techsyapa and my Name is Akshit. Today we will talk about how You can use Your Android Tv with full efficiency. Usually, Android Tv comes with 1 Gb Ram and 8 Gb Rom, so if you notice that the ram provided is very less, so you can't install many apps in the Android Tv this the primary reason Why Android Tv manufacturers don't install a Proper Browser on your Tv and moreover the Browsers are not available on Tv's play store also but do you know that Android is a Linux based operating system it has it's own terminal just like windows cmd and Linux terminal and it also have a web view shell in it through which you can access the internet.

Android Web shell is just like a normal browser but with fewer features, you can't just simply enter keywords and search for it on the web. You have to enter the complete URL of the website for example if You want to visit the website of Techsyapa, on normal browsers you can just simply enter techsyapa and then it will show all the results of it but on android web shell you have to enter the complete URL of the website i.e https://techsyapa.blogspot.com . But don't worry you can resolve this issue also. What you have to do is open http://google.com and then the google search engine will be available to you and then you can do the normal google search. Though some websites don't support web shell because it is a very basic browser but the number of such websites is quite low.

You can apply jugaad for websites which don't support web shell for example if you want to open Gmail on web shell then just enter the direct URL of the mailbox of Gmail i.e mail.google.com if you will try to open the mailbox directly from www.gmail.com then it will not open the mailbox and will raise the error that your browser is not compatible. Sometimes no error will be raised but you will not be able to reach your destination. In short always prefer to enter the URL of your destination, where you actually want to go this jugaad will make your browsing easy though most of the websites will open from your normal google search results but some of the websites will not.

Now the main question is how to access web shell where it's located?. The web view shell is present in almost every latest android Tv and is usually present in settings -> MY Apps -> System Apps -> Web View shell.

Web view shell should be able to meet your requirements but still, if you want to add a browser on your Android Tv then firefox lite is best for Your Android Tv as it requires very less Ram to operate. Firefox lite is not available on the play store of Android Tv but You can Download its Apk from Firefox website.

So this was all about the browser on Android Tv if we Talk about the Android Terminal then you can access the android Terminal using Termux Emulator, Termux is Available on the Play store of Android Tv you can Download it from there.

Normally the users don't require the Terminal but if You are a Techie Guy then You can do a lot of stuff on the terminal but the explanation for that is beyond the scope of this blog.

Moreover, if You are a student and You need a laptop then Android TV can fulfill Your needs easily.

So that's all for today guys. Hope you have liked our blog. A small note for the readers, we have tested Android Web shell on Android Version 8 and 9 of Android Tv and it might be possible that the lower versions of Android don't have a web shell.
